Electrical Engineer III
Job DescriptionPreferred Rate:
Top Required Skills 1) Must have Standard Design Process Qualification and be able to provide a sample of their work 2) Skilled in use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines.
3) Strong leadership skills with proven ability to serve as team project lead.
4) Ability to think analytically, solve complex problems and to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
5) In depth knowledge of various computer applications, with the ability to manipulate personal computer applications and perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (eg Matlab, Excel, etc.
)Equally effective working independently or in team environment.
6) Strong planning and organizational skills What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)? o Strong oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing).
Strong personal computer skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
o Experience with medium voltage (kV) cables and components o Ability to mentor the junior team members is a plus, but not required High Level Project Overview:
o The hiring manager is looking for someone who can come online quickly at north anna and can supplement the subsequent license renewal engineering team.
Contractor will support the project management team by managing specific portions of the project including technical, design change, construction, and quality.
Supports development and management of specific portions of project budget and schedule.
Coordinate project design and implementation process including including safety, development of system turnover packages, system walkdowns, punch list management, coordination with operations and system documentation.
Preferred Years of
Experience:
o 5 years of experience in design/review in Nuclear Are there any specific companies/industries you'd like to see in the candidate's experience? o Experience in engineering and nuclear fields.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
